Overnight Train (Paris to Florence)

In preparation for the long train ride, we decided to visit our local patisserie one final time to take some chocolate croissants for the road.

Then off to the train station once again...
We took the overnight train from Paris to Florence, we had our own "room" which had 3 seats that converted into 3 beds. In planning this trip we decided to buy out the 3rd seat, otherwise we would have had a stranger sharing this "room" with us. It was quaint but nice. Our conductor was very friendly and checked on us often.
We were hoping to take pics along the way, but the train was moving so quickly that the camera wouldn't capture a shot.

When we arrived at the Florence train station one of the first things we saw were nuns greeting some of the visitors to Italy.
