Bridget and Jason's Wedding Milwaukee, WI

This weekend Tony and I headed to Milwaukee, WI to celebrate the marriage of Bridget Ziliak and Jason Collins.

The ceremony and reception took place at this historic mansion. It was a beautiful sunny day and the ceremony took place just as the sun was setting.

Bridget and I have been friends for almost 30 years. Here is a picture of us right before the ceremony.

Bridget's dad just before he walked her down the isle.

Here is Jason waiting for Bridget to walk down the isle.

They were so calm and happy, this is the exchange of the rings, a little humidity made the rings a bit tight, but they managed.

The tables were beautifully set, the parting gift lotto cards.

Instead of wedding cake, Bridget's aunt made cupcakes for each guest.

Just to give you a taste of the elegance of this spot, this was a chandelier in the ballroom where the wedding was held.

My mom joined us for the wedding as well, so a quick snapshot to end the night.

Congrats to Bridget and Jason, to many years of happiness, and trips to Chicago :)

And my dad's advise to all newly married couples:

Happiness in the good times,

courage in the difficult times, and

L-O-V-E all the time!
