I am writing this blog a bit out of order, but here goes.
We were in MN the week of July 3rd. Our flight was delayed 1 and a half hours, due to a glitch in the computer system for United Airlines. We were not flying United but were still feeling the effects.
When we got to my friend Kristina's house, my MN friends were waiting there to celebrate with me. It was a low key birthday filled with good friends, and great food (german choc cake from http://www.wuollet.com/).
For the 4th of July we had a BBQ and despite the rain, it cleared up and was a beautiful day. That evening we watched fireworks in Drew's friends backyard, couldn't have been a better view.
My actual bday was on the night of Andrew and Rebekah's rehearsal dinner, it was nice to be around family - celebrating the wedding on the 11th.
